Jacob Kern is an Art Director and Motion Designer based out of Brooklyn, New York. He has 13+ years of experience in the industry, 10 of those years working as a dedicated freelancer with studios, agencies, and businesses of all shapes and sizes. Having studied film and television at The University of Texas at Austin, Jacob comes from a background in directing, producing, and editing for commercials and documentary films including several award-winning short films distributed by PBS. Jacob notably directed and designed the graphics package for the Emmy-nominated feature documentary, The River and The Wall.

Extracurricularly, Jacob spends his time racing single speed mountain bikes, sewing, and going for leisurely walks with his partner and their long-haired Chihuahua, Pigeon.
